Travel Itinerary

This morning, we take the McDonald-Cartier Freeway eastbound to Nation’s Capital Ottawa, which is appointed by Queen Victoria in 1860.  The uniqueness of our Nations’ Capital is that it consists of two cities from the province of Ontario and Quebec.  The city tour of Ottawa will include the Parliament Hill, Peace tower, Centennial Flame, Confederation Square, Art Gallery, Central Bank of Canada, and Royal Canadian Mint.  Impressive sights of the Rideau Canal, Rideau Hall (Governor of Canada’s resident), Prime Minister’s residence, and residences of foreign ambassadors are also unfolded upon your presence.  We then visit one of the Capital’s landmarks, the Museum of Canadian History ($).

*Ottawa Winterlude Festival runs from January 30 to February 16, 2026. Visitors can see numerous ice sculptures in downtown Ottawa.

Next, we arrive at Canada’s second-largest city, Montreal.   After checking into the downtown Montreal hotel, feel free to experience the nightlife of Montreal after we check into the hotel.

This morning, we visit the Ice Hotel Quebec ($). Ice hotel scheduled to open between Dec 26 to Mar 23, 2025 base on weather conditions.  This spectacular winter architecture is uniquely designed every year.   Sculptures, bars, chapel, and the hotel itself are made from ice and snow.  It offers an exceptional experience to everyone who visited.   Next, we spend some times at the Valcartier winter park ($).  It is the largest winter wonderland of its kind in Canada, and there is no shortage of fun and laughs for your visit.

Later, we arrive at the Old Quebec City, a UNESCO world heritage site.   Old Quebec City is the oldest settlement in North America, and the only city north of Mexico still surrounded by a fortification wall on the continent of North America.  History of the city can be dated back to the early 17th century.   Enjoy your free time of walking on the cobblestone streets, visiting charming boutiques, cafes and centuries-old buildings.  The iconic Chateau Frontenac and boardwalk overlooking the St. Lawrence River is a must to visit.  Tonight, we will stay in Quebec City.

Quebec Carnival Festival is also one of the winter highlights for those visit Quebec City between Feb 06 and 15, 2026.

We depart Quebec City and travel westbound to visit the Bio Dome ($) in Olympic Park.   It is a fascinating indoor nature replica of various eco-systems including tropical rainforest, North American Laurentian maple forest, Gulf of St. Lawrence, and sub-Antarctic islands.  It’s a place you don’t want to miss while you are in Montreal.

Arriving Toronto in the early evening and bring home with an unforgettable holiday adventure.
