Montreal is the world’s second-largest French-speaking city, known as the "Little Paris of North America".  Montreal seamlessly blends ancient European culture with modernity. Everywhere you look, from the grand cathedrals to the old European-style buildings and modern skyscrapers, you'll find the deep-rooted influence of French culture in this second-largest city of Canada. 

We make a memorable visit to St. Joseph Oratory (charity donation require).  Then we visit the Bio Dome ($) in Olympic Park.   It is a fascinating indoor nature replica of various eco-systems including tropical rainforest, North American Laurentian maple forest, Gulf of St. Lawrence, and sub-Antarctic islands.  It’s a place you don’t want to miss while you are in Montreal.  

We then drive along the picturesque Quebec countryside and head to a traditional sugar shack in eastern Quebec, where we will savor a traditional sugar shack lunch ($) prepared with fresh farm produce and maple syrup.  You will be amazed by the beautiful scenery of the autumn foliage where you may pick up the inspirations of nature loving artists.  (*$6 Sugar shack entrance fee includes Maple taffy snack).

We arrive at Old Quebec City in the afternoon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Experience an un-obstructed view of the Old Quebec City and the St. Lawrence River at the Capital Observatory ($).  Explore this historical city during your free time at a leisurely pace, visiting charming shops, cafes, and centuries-old buildings.

*Ice Hotel Quebec ($): Ice Hotel is open between Dec 27, 2025 and Mar 30, 2026, subject to weather and operating hours.  And this attraction will be replacing Quebec City Capital Observatory.  

Ice Hotel is a magical world carved entirely from ice and snow.  Admire the snow and ice sculptures, explore the ice bar and chapel, down the ice slides, and snap photos in uniquely designed guest rooms.  

This morning, we will leave Quebec City, and experience charming Montreal Old Port.  City Hall, Court House, Chinatown, and Notre Dame Basilica will be viewed.  Old Montreal is a place full of charm and vitality - a unique tourist attraction that brings together history and culture.  You will discover many Old Montreal iconic landmarks like Notre Dame Basilica, Court House, and City Hall.  

You may be able to experience the winter fun with Dog Sledding* ($), is the operation condition is allowable, and weather permitted. 

Board the La Grande Roue ($) for the replacement of Dog Sled. You will have spectacular views of the Montreal downtown skyline, and the Helen Island.  Continued to travel Toronto bound, and admire the beautiful Thousand Islands sceneries along the St. Lawerence River.
